Lot and Property Measurement

The measurement of lots or properties requires meticulous field surveying work, focused on boundaries and vertices. We use high-precision topographic equipment to obtain exact results that ensure a high-quality final product. This process allows the surveying professional to certify three key aspects: the land area in square meters, the course described in the cadastral plan, and the geographical location expressed in coordinates with the official scale of Costa Rica.

Subdivision of Lots and Properties

The subdivision of lots and properties involves generating cadastral plans to modify a property, a process known as land surveying. This process includes field surveying, calculations, and office design.

Parceling involves dividing a property according to the dimensions desired by the owner. This surveying process, based on land surveying, measures the land and defines the areas to be parceled. A detailed sketch is then submitted to the College of Engineers and Architects, the National Registry, and the National Cadastre. Once a registration number is assigned, it becomes a registered cadastral plan.

Contour Lines

Contour lines are lines on a map that represent points with the same elevation above sea level. They are essential for optimizing land design and planning construction layouts.

Property and Lot Staking

Staking involves transferring the data from a sketch or cadastral plan to the land using surveying instruments. The geographic vertices are located and marked using azimuth and distances. The plans include references to fixed structures or nearby boundaries, making it easier to locate the land within its surroundings.

Additionally, we offer consultancy services in cadastral and registry processes, such as plan registration, boundary demarcation, and easements. We have experience in presenting judicial reports related to topography and property appraisal in civil or agricultural court cases.

Soil studies

Soil studies through SPT and other methods to determine the bearing capacity of the land and identify the type of material and its parameters for the design of your construction project or any other works in general. We also carry out slope stability analysis for your project and provide any geotechnical consulting services. We have our own Geotechnical and Materials Laboratory.
